Welcome to the websites of Outer Banks Cooking, We Feed The OBX, and OBX Grill Gurus (collectively, "the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our websites or
booking our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.
1. Scope of Services
The Company provides professional in-home catering, grocery delivery and stocking, and grill maintenance and repair services. All services are subject to availability and are
confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or written confirmation from our office.
2. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) Requirements
To maintain our service standards and cover logistical costs, we enforce the following minimums:
• Catering & Private Chef: A minimum of 10 Adults is required for all standard event bookings.
• Grocery Delivery: A minimum grocery purchase of $200.00 (exclusive of service fees) is required per delivery.
• Grill Maintenance: A minimum of one (1) Full Deep Clean or one diagnostic visit fee is required per location.
3. Pricing and Payments
• Quotes: All quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Deposits: A deposit (typically $50.00 per person for catering or a flat service fee for grocery/grill services) is required to secure a date.
• Final Payment: For catering, final headcounts and payments are due 14 days prior to the event. For grocery and grill services, payment is due upon completion of the service or as specified in the invoice.
• Market Pricing: Seafood and certain meat products are subject to "Market Price" fluctuations.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• General: Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
• Catering: Cancellations made 30+ days prior to the event receive a full refund. 15–30 days receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
• Grocery Delivery: Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the delivery date. Fees ar e non-refundable once shopping has commenced.
• Grill Services: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a $50.00 service call fee.
5. Customer Responsibilities
• Access: Customers must ensure our staff has legal access to the property (rental home, private residence, or commercial site) at the scheduled time.
• Environment: For grill and catering services, a safe working environment must be provided.
• Information: Customers are responsible for providing accurate dietary/allergy information or grill model details.
6. Limitation of Liability
• The Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, inclement weather, or "Acts of God" (including mandatory hurricane evacuations).
• Our liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific service.
• For grill repairs, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or mechanical failures discovered during the cleaning process.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our websites, including text, images, and logos, is the property of the Company and may not be used without express written permission.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dare County or Wake County, NC.
